As it soared into the canyon, I saw the shadow first
Then I noticed it was coming my way
I stepped aside to get a better look,
When I felt the action swarming all around my head
I stood up to be recognized by the altered beings ahead
I wasted not a moment in their footsteps
Although I certainly wondered how that might feel
Wish away the lies but keep the tunnels
An alternative is good to have around
Many things are considered to be spirit
I have the essence inside of me
It is essential that we all realize our spirituality
We must reach the bright light which is eternal
And wash our faces in love
The essence is inside you and you know it
Stretch out your hands and claim it
The moment of love never goes away
It's just many times ignored
Appreciation of love is also living it
Spread the love as you soar, oh great bird of the canyon
My spirit dances with yours, oh great spirit bird
Thanks for the light you bring
And all the special favors that come with the sight
Always stay in my dreams
Bring pleasure to my resting hours
Awaken me to things I don't know
Lead me to the path that was chosen
Show me the stream that flows through forever
Reaching the energy entrance the core starts to glow
The heat is all consuming and cool approaches
It's presence is applauded by all who know and care
