The beings of Rasta are the positive
The beings of Babylon are the negative
Rasta is living in grace
To be rhythmic, melodic, and harmonious on all levels
Is to live in grace
How can I live in grace when I'm hungry
Being shot at, and constantly oppressed?
In order to transcend Babylon
We must find our work and live in grace
Work is the answer, not jobs
How many of us enjoy the jobs we have?
We must create our own work
Perform services for each other
Don't wait for someone to hire you
We are bigger and stronger than we think we are
We are capable of surviving as a species
And we must do our work with a positive attitude
Now that's the key to success and happiness
A positive attitude is very hard to maintain
In this dark, negative environment
The negativity is something many of us enjoy
We participate in the lust, the greed
The drugs, the racism
The capitalism, the imperialism
And the treachery of the Babylon system
Around the world
When we talk about the problems of the world
Why is the question so often
"What can I do? I'm only one person"
What you can do is wake up!
We are all one person
You are not alone in your lack of awareness
So seek to be more aware
The road to awareness has many curves
Mountains, valleys and potholes
Winding through centuries of truth and lies
So what can one person do?
Search for the truth and share it
